5UF VPN
Privacy Policy
Version: April 2026 | This page describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Subscription, billing, and refunds are covered in our Terms of Service.
1. Our commitment: privacy first, minimal data collection
5UF VPN is committed to providing a no-log, no-tracking, and interference-free internet experience.
We adhere to common industry practices for VPN services:
- No logging of browsing history, DNS queries, connection contents, or communication data
- No behavior profiling or data analysis
- No sale, sharing, or misuse of user data
2. What we collect (minimal required data)
We only collect two essential pieces of information at registration:
- Username — for account identification
- Email address — for service notifications and password recovery
We do not actively collect or store personally identifiable information such as real name, physical address, or phone number.
3. What we record during usage
We do not record:
- Websites you visit
- DNS queries
- Content of traffic or packet data
We only record aggregate bandwidth usage per account to help manage system resources.
Regarding IP addresses
- Older protocols (e.g., PPTP, IKEv2, and outdated configurations) may temporarily log your IP for abuse prevention. These logs are retained for no more than 30 days and then permanently deleted.
- For newer protocols (e.g., Trojan, Hysteria), used in Android App 3.0+ and iOS App 7.0+, we do not log IP addresses at all, and it is technically impossible to reconstruct the connection.
4. Payment and billing information
Payments are processed by third parties; we do not access, log, or store full card numbers, CVV, or billing address. For Alipay, WeChat Pay, and similar methods, we only learn whether a transaction succeeded and cannot see your payment-platform account. In-app purchases are handled by Apple/Google; we receive only necessary metadata such as subscription status. See the Terms of Service for billing and renewal details.
5. Legal cooperation policy
We comply with the law, but only within strict limits:
- We only cooperate with formal court-issued orders, not administrative or police requests that are not judicial in nature (as described here)
- We will not cooperate with authorities from: China, Iran, Russia, North Korea
- For all other countries and regions, if a formal court order requires judicial cooperation, we will still only disclose the user information we actually hold. Our systems currently store: username, registration time, email address, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form). We also maintain usage-related records that do not include users’ IP addresses; they contain only account-level usage volume and timing information.
6. Compliance with Singapore PDPA
As a company registered in Singapore, we fully comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA):
- We collect only the minimal data necessary for service delivery
- Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their data
- All data is stored in data centers that comply with PDPA standards
7. Compliance with EU GDPR
We are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- All user data is encrypted in storage
- We do not use automated profiling or AI-based decision-making
- Users can request account/data deletion at any time
- We do not sell, transfer, or share user data with any third party
8. Technical security
- We use industry-standard encryption such as AES-256 and TLS 1.3
- Our VPN technology is built on the open-source Xray family of protocols; implementations are public and benefit from ongoing review and security discussion in the open-source community, so our technical approach remains transparent
- We continually improve infrastructure and access controls to reduce unauthorized access risk
