How to get started

Official clients are available on all major platforms. Use the official app first—get the latest Windows, macOS, iOS, or Android build from the download page.

1. Official app (recommended)

Three steps for desktop (cards link to the download page or FAQ). On phones, use the mobile help page for App Store install and the VPN permission prompt.

1 Download & install Open the download page, pick Windows / macOS, and finish the installer. 2 Sign in Launch the app and sign in with your 5UF account. 3 Connect Choose a server or mode, then connect. Issues? See FAQ → App & client + Connection tag.

2. Super VPN (browser only)

Super VPN is a browser extension for Chrome, Edge, and similar. It only proxies pages inside the browser, not your whole device like the official app does.

3. Manual setup and third-party clients (not recommended)

OpenVPN, the OS VPN stack, and other third-party clients are not recommended for everyday use. If you still need compatibility guides or advanced setups, go to the FAQ and use the sidebar tags (optionally combined with categories)—we no longer maintain the old per-platform “help” article list here.
